CHAPTER 02

Peace at life’s great transitions

Illustrative environment; not a reconstruction of this episode
Conceptual artwork · No prophet is depicted

The Qur’an declares peace upon Yahya on the day of his birth, the day of his death, and the day he is raised alive. The verse concludes a portrait concerned with his relationship to Allah, his Scripture, and his parents. It places his life within the larger human journey rather than measuring him only by public influence.

The wording does not establish a date or a detailed account of how he died. Accounts transmitted in historical literature must be identified as such and assessed before their details are treated as established biography.

This chapter provides a reflective close to the entry. The visual recap connects the glad tidings to Zakariyya, Yahya’s qualities, and peace at the three transitions. A short source record can be fully covered without making it artificially long. The restraint is a feature of careful learning, especially when dramatic later stories are more familiar than the direct scriptural portrait.
