Deliverance through the sea

Musa departs with the Children of Israel, and Pharaoh pursues with his forces. When the two groups can see each other, Musa’s companions fear that they will be overtaken. Musa declares confidence in his Lord’s guidance. He is commanded to strike the sea with his staff, and it parts, allowing the group to pass.
The pursuers follow and are drowned. Surah Yunus records Pharaoh’s declaration as drowning reaches him and the reply concerning its lateness. His body is preserved as a sign for those who come after. The passage does not identify a particular museum specimen as that body.
The sources establish deliverance and judgment, but do not supply surveyed coordinates for the crossing. The atlas therefore offers regional orientation instead of a confident route reconstruction. Remember the contrast between the companions’ immediate fear and Musa’s trust, followed by the command, the passage, and the collapse of Pharaoh’s pursuit.
