Khadijah and a household of support

Before the beginning of revelation, Muḥammad ﷺ and Khadijah form the household that will receive the first great disruption of his mission. Classical Seerah recounts their marriage within his early working life; particular age calculations are matters of transmitted biography and should not be treated as a Qur’anic statement.
The first-revelation narration gives a direct picture of her support. When he returns frightened, Khadijah reassures him by recalling his care for relatives, those in difficulty, guests, and people facing need. She helps him approach Waraqah, who recognizes the significance of what has occurred.
Later authenticated reports remember her favor and the Prophet’s enduring affection for her. Her place in the story is therefore more than a preliminary family detail. She is part of the mission’s human context: companionship, moral recognition, reassurance, and practical help. The collection keeps her contribution visible without inventing private scenes or conversations beyond the reports.
